This December 10th event grew out of what our nonprofit (OCCCDA) has been doing in the community for the last seven years: Providing high quality gifts for an affordable price through its Toy Store. The goal is to help local families in financial need enjoy their Christmas. OCCCDA still does this but OCMC took a slightly different approach. We changed the name to the Christmas Village and added fun activities, food and games because we also wanted to bring joy to families through an engaging experience. OCMC volunteers served over 25 families and 60 kids.
